Panasonic Pavilion “Nomo no Kuni

Panasonic Holdings Corporation held a groundbreaking ceremony for the “Nomo no Kuni” pavilion in Yumeshima, Japan, in preparation for the 2025 Japan International Expo (Osaka-Kansai Expo). The company is working to solve global environmental problems under its long-term environmental vision “Panasonic GREEN IMPACT” with the aim of realizing “an ideal society in which both material and spiritual well-being are enhanced.
Features of the Pavilion “Nomo no Kuni
- Utilization of recyclable materials: Recycled materials recovered from used home appliances and scraps and waste materials from factories are actively employed. In particular, recycled iron, glass, and copper materials will be used for building components.
- Recycling scheme: A scheme to use materials recovered from home appliance recycling factories and reuse them after construction is established. We aim to achieve a recycling rate of 98.1% after the exposition.
- Use of environment ally friendly products: Environmentally friendly products such as “PALM LOOP™” and “Sustainable Floor™” made from oil palm waste will be used for the interior.
Concept of Pavilion “Nomo no Kuni
The concept of the pavilion is “Unleash. Unleash your mind, body, self, and the world. The pavilion will provide children with an experience where nature and human life will circulate and where they can feel a sense of hope for the future.
